Training Courses
New Zealand Institute of Central Heating has partnered with BPEC to raise standards and driving best practice through training.
BPEC is a specialised UK-based provider of industry-recognised qualifications, assessments, training courses and learning materials, providing services to colleges, private training centres, employers and learners across the plumbing, heating, gas and wider energy sector.
Working with BPEC, NZICH now have a certificated Underfloor Heating (UFH) Installer course that provides installers with a four-year certification. Further courses on radiator install, heatsources and controls will follow on in 2024/25.

Requirements:
Proof of formal trade qualification in Gas or Plg or heating engineering. Or evidence of number of years’ experience within heating or plumbing industry.

New Zealand Institute of Central Heating is now a NZIA Approved CPD Provider running web seminars to their members on various elements of Hydronic Central Heating.
